Searched around and couldn't find anything so here goes. My '04 E350 15-pass van has been having an issue with front brakes hanging or not releasing. My foreman drives it so I didn't notice anything until he pulls up to the job and the side of the normally white van is orange from the pad backing plate grinding down the rotor to a potato chip. It started on the driver's side so I replaced the caliper and brake hose along with a new rotor and pads. Then it moved to the passenger side so I replaced the same items on that side. Any ideas on the culprit if it comes back again? Master cylinder problem? I won't know if I fixed it until I pull the front wheels to see how the pads are wearing. There is no abnormal steering wheel pull.
I haven't had that problem, but I do have one side that bites better than the other. I'll eventually replace the calipers and hoses.
Usually when brakes drag, it's a caliper or hose. Since you have replaced those, I'll bet you have fixed it. If not, I would move to the ABS unit.
Did you power flush the system (using a pressure bleeder) when you replaced the components? I would power flush the system before replacing anything else.
