Smoke

Whats the best way to blow smoke? Do i need a chip. Iv heard you can install a smoke switch that turns the turbo on and off?

I'm not going to speak for everyone, but you will more than likely NOT receive any advice on how to Roll Coal in the 6.0 forum.

Unplug the connector on the turbo and see if that's what your after. If that's it, just wire in a switch on one of the wires in that plug. Some guys who write tunes offer a "smoke and lope" tune, if you just gotta have it, tuning is probably a better option.

One of the many problems with rollin coal in a 6.0 is the turbo. It's a VGT (Variable Geometry) design with movable vanes around the compressor wheel. The thick **** tends to collect on the vanes and linkage inside the turbo and bind it up. Also soot deposits on the entire intake and exhaust systems including many of the sensors.

It's your truck but smokin is not reccommended .

Unless you have the power to go with it blowing smoke is silly. I laugh at stock trucks that smoke but don't go.
