200 lb weakling
95 F150 4x4, bad U joint on the driver's side.
Got it to the point where the 5 nuts holding the spindle have been removed. Been banging on the spindle/knuckle interface for an hours and it hasn't budged.
Does anybody know of good tricks to get the spindle off?

A BIGGER HAMMER works wonders. I always have a 16# single jack with me. That either moves stuff or breaks it.

I've seen some posts about a slide hammer adapter. Does anybody have a part #/manufacturer?

After another 1/2 hour of pounding a warming the knuckle with a propane torch, the spindle finally came off.
Thanks all.
