Blower Motor switch

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me how to remove the blower motor switch on my 99 F150 without breaking anything. Thanks if anyone can help.

Yeah, well not as difficult as you would think. Starting at the top of the bezel which frames the ***** and radio, you just pull the bezel straight out all around. It comes off with the 2 vents and duct extensions attached. It will have the cord to the 4x4 switch attached (if used) which must be disconnected. There is another connector for the front airbag which I did not remove. Not sure if you can remove and replace it without causing the bag to go off. Don't know enought about the circuitry. Anyway, remove also the bezel around the steering wheel which will allow access to several screws which will need to be removed to allow the next section of the dash to be pulled out a bit, thus allowing access to the lower 2 of 4 screws holding the blower switch faceplate (and 2 controls) to the dash supports. There are a few other screws above and to the right of the ***** that need to come out to make it easier to access those 2 lower screws. The other 2 faceplate screws are easily removed allowing removal of the 3 ***** and faceplate (as a unit).
