Extang solid fold bike fork rack install

I'm proud of this one. I'm not a builder type of guy but this worked out very well.

I bought 2 bike fork at mec.ca for 22$ each.
Got a few nuts and bolts and some silicon.

I measured very carefully and triple checked before drilling into the solid fold. The bikes are 18" wide so I put the center line 11" away from the side. This leaves me enough room to add another in the middle later if I ever want to. Also it's close enough to the side that I don't have to climb on top to put on the bike. I measured from the front to clear the aerobars on my triathlon bike but in the end put it another 1.5" further so that when I fold the 3rd and 2nd panels of the cover the bike racks end up in the groove of the 2nd panel and it almost closes completely.

Finished product. Made a slight mistake with the passenger side has the logo towards the cab so it looks all black. I'll probably just remove the logo from both.

How is the fork mount working out for you now? I am thinking about doing this as well. Did you drill all the way through the tonneau cover? I want to see if it's possible just drilling halfway through the panel. I'm a little hesitant in drilling because I'm not sure what's in between the panels or if it will hold if drilled half way.
