I purchased a chrome fire extinguisher and wanted to know where the best place to install it in the cab is without doing damage to the truck and a place that is out of the way yet accessible if it is needed quickly.
I've been thinking of mounting one next to the vent on the driver's side kick panel. My truck has a cover plate screw hole and another screw hole 2" to the left that may work out nicely. I like using existing mounting holes rather than making new ones.
Mounted 1 on the passengerside between vent and door jamb several yrs. ago and surprisingly it has not been an obstruction, don't believe one would want to install on driver's side. Can see glimse in the edge of the pic.
