Went with oem, installed tonight that went in good. Now have exhaust leak, weird whistle i thought it was from the exhaust into the turbo. Checked that and still leaking! Re checked the turbo out down pipe still leaking! Im looking for idea's as to where the leak is?
Ive had the turbo off like 6-8 times and never had a leak, so im thinking mayme the up pipe is leaking? I was working below and a friend on installing on top. Maybe he didn't get the bolts tight! It sucks because you have to remove the turbo!
IPR has a really nice stainless up pipe. It has thick flanges just like the OEM one.
If I had to buy one that's the one I'd go with too. The OEM type flange is not only heavier it's easier to get a flex head wrench on to tighten up the bolts. The PMM I got to try was very cheaply made and the EGR cooler delete pipe leaked.
