I just noticed by weird sound, that i have an exhaust leak on the passenger side. Does anyone know if there is a gasket up there? It looks hard to get to fix!
Ist by the odd colored spring/coil?
That's an expansion joint. The fix is to replace it. I'm thinking you must pull the turbo to get to everything since it would be a long reach from the bottom. Its really a pretty easy job.

Thanks for the info, i will do it next weekend. Do i need any other parts? No harm if i drive it 200 miles on sunday?
I think the thin metal gaskets are reusable unless ripped. Shouldn't hurt to drive it. There is a possibility that small hands could reach the top and another person with long extensions from the bottom. Might try or even take a look to see before you remove the turbo.
Would that part be called the outlet tube? By looking at on line im thinking that's what its called?
I call it the up-pipe of the y-pipe. If you get an EGR delete kit that's the pipe that come with it. On a stock truck it also connects to the EGR cooler IIRC.
In the fordparts.com book it's called a turbocharger exhaust pipe adapter.

I believe its 3C3Z-6K854-AA.
That should be the passenger side up pipe that has the opening for the egr cooler. Do you have a stealth delete? If it just has a cap on it you could go with the SS egr delete up pipe.
Riffraff sells the Sinister up pipe for $120. I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction since your up pipe is factory and not knowing if your egr cooler is in place with caps welded in the ends or if you factory up pipe has the hole plugged.

An easy job would be the coolant filter, I would consider this a medium job! Yes you have to pull the turbo to get at the upper bolts.
