Does anyone know how I can find which vehicles used a c6 transmission(small block)with a console shift. It would help with my junk yard
search for a transmission and other parts if knew witch vehicle to look

Greetings and welcome to FTE.

What are you trying to do, and into what vehicle?

A SB C6 in a console car.....or truck?

Mustang/Cougar/Fairlane/Torino with the SB mostly used the C4 and FMX.

Bigger cars used the C6 with a console but with one or the other flaver of BBF.

Are you after the console, the shifter, the trans?

I believe you would find a C6 and a console shifter in some early '80's T-bird/Cougars and maybe Mustangs, and the C6 itself in Crown Vics and Lincolns but those were all column shift if I recall correctly. In the mid to late '80s the AOD started to appear so you would have to pretty much rule out everything from then on except 351/5.8 powered trucks.. which would get you the best built C6 for sure.
