taking off fender emblems
this question might have been answered before but how do i take off the f250 fender emblems and the one on the tailgate on my 2003 f250 without messing up anything? tryin to plasti dip them black but my truck is white

Your going to paint them and reinstall? I would just tape around and plasti dip them, you could even paint the emblem and surrounding, just cut the paint around the emblem after painting and the dip will just peel off around the emblem.

Heat Gun will work great but since u plan on re-installing them I would just mask off a large surrounding area & do them on the truck.
Cause u can re-stick emblems with 3M double sided tape but it's expensive & will never be a full sized perfect fit like the black foam tape the factory uses
