2000 Transfer Case fluid change...
Feels dumb asking, but can I just use Mercon V for the transfer case fluid. Just seems it would be more appropriate since I already did the tranny with Merc V. Rather have all fluids for tranny and transfer the same.

If that is what the TSB means then why do they continue to put it on the bottle? I have not had this bottle around for more than a year. The TSB was written in 2006

Probably just the fluid manufacturers covering their butts. I'm sure Ford tested the use of Mercon V and were satisfied with the results long before they released that TSB.
