Higher amp Alternator
I have a 1979 Ford F150. Looking to raise my amperage output. Was once told by a friend that a small body alternator from a newer Ford Taurus would work. He said it was a higher amp alternator, that I might need to change the pulley. He said if he could find the link, he would send it to me. He hasn't been on here for about three months. Would anybody have any have any input on this subject? Also, how would you connect the older style wire connectors to the newer alternator?
