Alternator Amperage?

Alternator Amperage?
How do you tell what size alternator (amperage) your alternator is providing? I am looking for new parts and it says Part # XXXX for 60AMP Alternator or Part #XXXX for 100 AMP Alternator. The part is belts, but that aside, I cannot find any documentation in my manuals on the amperage provided by my Alternator?

I'm betting it is a 60-75 amp alt. Not sure about the vans? I got a 3g, 130 amp alt. for 30 bucks from the boneyard. New brushes from Autozone were 7 bucks, and you don't even have to open the case to replace them!!! Came from a 93 Taurus with the 3.8L. It's going on a 86 F250 4x4. How to wire can be found useing the seach function. I'm hoping to finish the install this week. I was told this is a very good alt. to upgrade to, and pretty durable.
