2000 V10 X Limited Starting Problems
I have a 2000 V10 X and am having some starting issues.
Drove her to the store and she was fine. Went to drive home and she started to start, but instantly died. Then after that she wouldn't start at all...does not turn over. Had her towed home (which was fun...front wheels of flatbed came off the ground a little while loading her lol) and I have replaced the starter and the battery...still the same thing.
Thinking maybe the starter solenoid on the fender. Looks like a previous owner has installed something and ran power lines to the starter solenoid. Not quite sure what it is.
Here are some pictures:

Extra box:

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Chris
Starter solenoid replaced, battery replaced, starter replaced....I have heard that if the Transmission Range Sensor goes out it could tell the car not to start...so I ordered one of those. Hopefully thats all it is.
That blue box was attached to the alternator and the starter solenoid. There is another line going into the cab and is not hooked up to anything
Put stock starter back on....seems like something is killing the battery. Brand new battery will not charge fully and it died during all of the no starts.
This truck has some weird wiring issues that I can't figure out. Now all of this wiring was done by the owner BEFORE the owner I purchased it from. The owner I purchased from put 15-20 thousand miles on it and had no issues with it. So I am stumped, the owner I purchased the truck from is stumped...
The alternator cable was cut...so I have to use that blue box.

Here is the end of the other stock alternator wire

This line looks to have been cut, but can't tell. Two fuses on it, one on each end.

This is in the cab of the truck. Behind second row seats

I have replaced:
Battery
Starter Solenoid
Starter
Transmission Range Control
All have same problem. Yesterday the truck started making the dead battery sound. Removed key from the ignition....truck still made the clicking dead battery sound. Had to remove negative battery cable to get it to stop.
Charged battery some and that sound went away back to the original sound. But battery will not charge fully. While the battery was hooked up to the charger I hit the key fob a couple of times and in the 5 mins I went to use it, the battery dropped from 75% to 70%.
Seems electrical to me, but I can't pinpoint it.
Still same symptoms. No idea whats wrong....guess I Will be towing it to a shop to go over it.
