fuel injector

If you have a leakung injector will it cause the truck to idle higher. was able to spray something around the injector and when I did it changed the running of the engine

A leaking (assuming fuel) injector will not typically cause a high idle. On the other hand a leaking injector (air) will. The cap on the bottom of the injectors are known to crack as they age.

I sprayed some cleaner on the enjector and it changed the idle like wanting to die what would be the best to do replace the o ring on the injecters

^x2 on that. Evan gave me the idea to rebuild mine and aside from snapping one of the fuel rail to intake bolts and resorting to zipties as a quick fix, the entire process was pretty cheap, easy, and quick.
