I did a search but not finding the info I need,I want to delete the vacuum system and add Warn hubs does have info on what hubs I need and how to cap off the vacuum lines?
I hear the conversion is a big project do to no one finding the right hubs.
But to answer you question you will need to plug the lines or your
A/C won't work right. The A/C runs from the same vacuum system so
you will have to keep it. The plugs can be the ones you get at the
local auto part store. Stick them in the lines and if you want take
some heat shrink tube and shrink it on so the plug does not fall out. (Over Kill)
I can't help with the hubs, but you can trace your vacuum lines up to the box on top of the passenger side wheel well and disconnect and cap the line there. I did that with mine. I left the stock hubs and just turn them to lock if I need to use 4x4.
Since they had the option of manual only, why couldn't he go to them?
They are and he can if he so chooses. That's what I did after almost getting stuck when 4x4 didn't engage automatically. Now I lock them in when needed and I also have the option of 2WD low, which comes in quite handy when parking the toy hauler in a tight spot.
