I have a 2000 EX that is having the typical hub problems. My hubs have the letters wore off. Which way is lock and auto? I think that auto is clockwise but I am not sure. I have already had them off once and cleaned and got them working again, but now 3 months later they will not unlock the front end. By the way these are the worst piece of junk hubs I have ever used, and I have had 4 x 4s for 30 years. I will replace them with manual hubs, if I decide to keep this truck for a while. Thanks

 

get the warn premiums. they work the best. all you have to do is plug the vacuum lines. at least your hubs turn. mine are not supposed to turn. until i get the warns, it one hub fails on my X, i am screwed. no manual over ride for my hubs.

you will have a vacuum leak. engine wont run correctly, couple other things could happen. better just plug the lines. its extremely easy.
