Getting ready install manual hubs on my X, do I have to disconnect any part of the auto 4wd system or can I still use the dash selector switch

You still have to use the switch to put it in 4x4. You should unplug the hub vacuum actuator on the passenger side fender under the hood so you don't have a vacuum leak when you put it in 4x4.

When I replaced my oem auto hubs with Warn manual hubs, the Warn package included little caps to put on the end of the vacuum lines that you pull off the hub.

That’s all I did to the vacuum system on mine and never had any issues. Was on a dedicated plow truck so was pretty much always in 4wd when in use.

so....pull the auto hubs off, put the Warn hubs on, cap off the two lines, and you’re good to go.
