Funny story, no.. hahaha Ive been running like this for almost two years now. I just have been dealing with it because I had not needed to tow for a long distance. Soon I will be taking a long trip and it will be nice to know how much fuel I have. So now Im reinvestigating the issue. Ill be looking more into it this week.
It works every now and then, but never goes over 3/4 of a tank, and its not accurate. I find when im romping it in the desert it works the best lol. I think there is a short somewhere. Worst part is when it reads E and truck goes into the "low power" surging BS to tell you its empty. most of the time it sits below E and I just fill up every 300 miles.
