Need Help decoding VIN on Canadian made 1966 F-100 Pickup

Hey guys... I have no idea what I got here so I'm hoping someone can decipher the VIN code or information I have on this door plate.
I bought the truck from my brother in law and have plans on making it a nice little cruiser... Eventually a gift for my kid when he graduates high school. (He's 12 right now so I have a few years... lol )

Door Badge is as follows:

Serial # 4991028L-147482A
Trim 08
Paint UH
Axel Ratio 3.73.1
Series F-F100
WB 128
Max GVW 5000
Engine/Trans RR-4SPD

Ford Motor Company of Canada Limited
Oakville Ontario

Tring to find out actually which motor it has... Its a V8, 2 nuts on the valve cover, so I'm assuming an FE... but which one...

Any and all information would be great... If you need pictures, shoot me an email at hbpaints@gmail.com and I can send pics of the truck, badge and motor bay...

Thanks in advance...

Rating Plate is as follows: VIN: 4991028L-147482A / Trim: 08 / Paint: UH / Axle Ratio: 3.73.1 / Series: F-F100 / W.B. 128 / Max GVW LBS: 5000 / Engine: RR / Trans: 4SPD

Ford Motor Company of Canada Limited - Oakville Ontario Truck Assembly Plant

Trying to find out actually which motor it has. It's a V8, 2 nuts on the valve cover, so I'm assuming an FE
2 studs per side poke thru center of valve cover, 2 nuts retain it in place. Dizzy located behind carb: Y block / FE's have 5 valve cover bolt holes per side, dizzy in front of carb.
Welcome to FTE

This cannot be a 1966, because it has a 15 digit Canadian truck VIN / 1966/68 Canadian truck VIN same as 11 digit US truck VIN

It cannot be a 1965, because it would have come with a 240 or 300 I-6 or a 352 (Engine: SS). 1965 Canadian Numerical Sequence of Assembly begins with 195,001.

With a Y block and 128.8" wheelbase, it has to be a 1964 F100 2WD with a 292 2V

4991028L-147482A

4 = V8 engine / 99 = Styleside Pickup / 10 = 100 Series / 28 = 128.8" (commonly referred to 129") Wheelbase / L = Left Hand Drive / 147,482 = Numerical Sequence of Assembly, the trucks specific serial number / A = 3,600-5,600 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

For the rest of the decode, you'll have to go to: mercurypickups.com / I have 1965 Canadian codes, not 1964 or earlier.
