Transmission is junked today.

Was going up a hill at 35-40mph. 5% grade. Engine was lugged and kicked down a gear. Kicked down and slammed into gear! Whole truck hopped. No Gears.. no reverse.. nothing.. was like 100 yards from home.

Anyone guess what happened? Broken Shaft? Looking at your Roland..

Thanks bob. Think I might pull the Trans out soon just to see how it looks. Then I could fix my rear main seal and fix all my oil leaks. I don't know when I'll have the money to get a BTS

 

Could be many things. A broken shaft is one of them.
