I have a 04 6.0 would I have a trouble code if I had glow plugs not working well seems to struggle a little in the mornings to start after warmed up starts nice
On top of all of the above. You can unplug the glow plug module and check
to see if the pins are clean and dry. If you see nay fuzz clean it with contact
cleaner and put some dielectric grease on the plugs before you plug them back in.
throw codes yes, but not the check engine light. i've been battling glow plug/gpcm issues since last winter, and finally procured AE w/ ford bundle and discovered i have codes on 6 out of 8 of my glow plugs.. but no check engine light, and my scan gauge wouldn't pull those codes.
that's what I am using a scan gauge ,I would think if my ficm was going bad it would do it on ever start up. my problem is I have to stay on the starter for 2 seconds longer for it to start let

Don't run that low voltage too long or you will be getting new injectors to
go with the repaired FICM.
Thanks Sean for rewording, anything 45 you still have time but at 28v I wouldent run the truck, you also may want to check out the Batteries check separate 14 on both if not replace in Pairs, for the FICM Health.
