I am from Illinois, so got rust on the exhaust. Having a hard time getting the O2 sensor out. I have used PB Blaster & let it sit for near 2 hours and still won't budge.
Anyone got any other ideas on how to get this stubborn one out?
i've had a stupid amount of success with heat and a cold wrench.
get your wrench super cold, like in a glass of ice water, and your exhaust good and hot.
when you put the cold wrench on the hot bolt, it draws the heat from the bolt (into the wrench), many times causing the bolt (02 sensor) to shrink just enough to help break it free. Sounds stupid, but i've saved a lot of grief with the cold wrench.
that, and hooking a 1" wrench on the back side of your 7/8" for extra leverage.
