Anyone know what these four wires (red, white, blue, and black) go to under the hood by the firewall on the driver's side? It looks like they must have gone to something and were cut off. Do they have anything to do with a trailer brake controller as I believe the wires for that are the same color...?
Speaking of trailer brake controllers, my Ex came with a Tekonsha Voyager TBC. I have not used it, nor do I really know anything about them. Without a trailer being connected, should the TBC do anything? It has a LED light on top, but it doesn't illuminate. Is this normal for when a trailer is not connected or does it have something to do with the wires in the engine bay?
The wires, they are pass through wires. You will find a matching set under the dash. The TBC may not light up until there is a trailer connected. Most of the newer ones will sense the connection to the brake circuit.
