That might be the pre wired harness for the brake controller, or it could be the customer access wires that go through the firewall and terminate on the other side.

The white, blue, red, and black are the pass through wires. You'll find the other ends of them tied to the bundle of wires above and to the drivers side of the master cylinder. The colors probably wont look right though. All those years under the hood faded mine. I think the two light blue wires are related to the PTO and APCM, but I'm not sure. The file I have with the info isnt on this pc.

Oh, and the grey six pin connector in the background is for the brake controller Clint. It comes pre-wired.

The wires in you hand, no impact no idea. The grey empty plug in the background is for a trailer brake controller.

As usual, no help....

No Brake controller hooked up yet. Still need to do that, just wondering if these are the controller wires and if they were cut, the colors don't match the grey plug.

The grey empty female plug in the back is for your brake controller. My truck came with a male plug with wires to hook to a brake controller. It is still in the plastic bag. A good brake controller will give you an option of adding a plug to match that female with a little extra cost. That is exactly what I did with my Prodigy.

So, I still don't know what the wires are in your hand. But if you are trying to do a brake controller this is my two cents.

Edit: The colors in your hand don't match the plug provided with my truck. Which are, Black/Red w/black trace, White w/tan trace/Light blue

See post #5 for what they are.

Here are my note on the wires under the dash. I hate not knowing what the various unused connectors and wires are for. The only one I havent figured out is the first set of wires I have listed.

white/pink, blue/orange, orange/light blue, red/yellow grey connector on steering column ??????

light blue/yellow 2 ends near adlc (one in bundle of wires below) ***PTO***

black, red/yellow, pink/light blue, tan/orange black connector under dash near adlc ***APCM connection***

red, white (looks yellow), blue (looks green), black under hood (customer pass-through)

red, white, blue, black bare ends under dash near adlc (customer pass-through)
