You are very funny Joe. That thing is not even close to what I am looking for. Way too tall, I can't bend my right knee, so how the heck am I going to climb into that? And he wants 12 grand for it. I am having a hard time convincing myself to part with 6 grand for the powerstroke in Union City, there is no way I would want to spend 12 grand on a truck. I would not be able to buy anything else. No car trailer, no daily driver, nothing. That truck is for you buddy. You could trade your suburban and your F350 for it. I am sure he would make an even trade.
Hello everyone. Any big plans for the long weekend? I am going to be doing my weekly trip to the dump with a truckload of the too-many things I accumulated over the past decades and aren't worth selling, giving away, donating, etc. Now that my '70 is about done, I am getting rid of a lot of old bumpside parts that I pulled off and replaced. The metal may be worth something.
It amazes me how much junk I can accumulate and swear I will use and never do. Who the heck needs ice skates in California??
I know the feeling. When I moved to this mobile home two months ago, I threw out a lot of stuff I have been storing for years thinking one day I would use it. That day never came, and I got tired of packing it every time I moved. Only thing left to get rid of now are my collection of videotapes I never watch.
On a different note, I have been checking F350 prices on eBay, and it appears the owners are either high on something, or think their 92-97 F350 is made of gold. That one on Autotrader I am looking at is looking pretty darn good compared to what is on eBay for almost twice the price.
Wow, didn't see the double post until just now. No plans for the long weekend, UNLESS the settlement check gets here Friday. Not holding my breath. LOL. Just remembered the F350 I was looking at in Auberry is a manual transmission vehicle. Which means I cannot drive it. My right knee doesn't bend enough for me to operate the brake with my right foot. Maybe, if I grow a third leg, I can look for manual transmissioned F350's. Or find a super crew and modify the seat track, so I can get more legroom. Or just resign myself to driving auto transmissioned vehicles the rest of my life. Or, I could just put a class 4 frame mounted hitch on the Bronco, and use that to tow light vehicles to flip. Getting a headache already and I haven't even started the business yet.
I`m off to SF again today. If I leave at 430 I get there about 530 so I miss all the traffic. I`m in pier 39 but can park right in front so thats nice. Ohh and today is last day for bay bridge and yesterday I felt like a damn tourist as I was snapping pics of new span all lit up while driving in on old one.
If crabs weren't such a pita I`d load up some
Have a nice day gents/gals
Just found out my wifes co. is switching from Kaiser to Blue shield. Anyone have experience with them? I really like Kaiser and might end up paying out of pocket but would like to hear from you guys.
I hate it when people hit your vehicle, and don't leave a note or anything. Came out of Carl's Jr, and saw that the drivers side of my front bumper was pulled away from the fender an extra one and a half inches. I don't know how it happened, as i see no scratch marks, or traded paint marks. I know it was not that way yesterday, and the only two places I went today was the Thrift Store, and Carl's Jr.
hank, i can't speak for either company. my care is provided via U.S. Govt... that being said, rosie, my girlfriend uses blue shield. she seems to like it... i wonder what i'll pick up when i get out. something cheap, thats for sure.
