Hot August all topic...
I forgot the friend of a friend is selling her 5th wheel trailer, and the truck to tow it together, and will not sell them separately. So that idea is out. The truck she has is a 89 F350 with the 460 gas engine. That thing would get worse gas mileage than the Bronco even without towing a 5th wheel.
I did see a decent 5th wheel on eBay in Colorado that I may get if it is still available, however, like the crew cab dually, it is more than I need. My original plan was to buy a small trailer the Bronco could to to Pismo, or Hollister, places like that. maybe a gtg or two. Don't really need a 5th wheel since it is only me. Same with a crew cab dually. It is much more than I need.Jim
BTW, a fifth wheel trailer would have the fifth wheel pin box that would be suited for a fifth wheel hitch mounted on the middle of the bed of a truck (usually mounted to the frame). If the tow vehicle has an in-bed gooseneck hitch (a ball set into the floor of the bed and attached to the frame), you would need an adapter. The adapters aren't real cheap and it might be better to just find a used fifth wheel hitch to mount in the tow vehicle, rather than buy an adapter. The only practical reason to buy an adapter would be if you needed the gooseneck hitch too, as in hauling stock trailers, etc.
Here is a link to a used adapter in good shape in Fresno.

Pop up trailers would be an ideal compromise allowing for better mpg when towing, and still being able to use it when popped up. However, I would like a little more privacy when sleeping other than a thin nylon mesh "wall". Just a personal phobia I have. The others you linked all look good, and two of them come in under $2,000 which is what I have set as my trailer limit.
And again, since I am by myself, there is no reason to have a long trailer. I just need something I can sleep in for a night or two at a time (like Pismo for example) and then tow back. Sure I could take the F350 dually, and tow any trailer I decide to buy. However, the F350 is not a 4x4 and if I am going to Pismo, or Hollister, I would want to take the Bronco. The F350 would be perfect for gtgs though, especially long trips up to Sacramento, or going down to Newport Beach to pick up a vehicle. (Will have to find an aftermarket cruise control setup though, my leg does not like the foot being glued to the gas pedal on long trips)
I think that last one, the 18' made in '70 would be the ticket. Even if nothing worked but the lights, it would still work. Just like that camper I got for free, I was still able to use it. I just took an ice chest for the food and drinks, and gallons of water for the sink. This one says everything works, so that is a plus. It does not look fancy, but it works. All I need. If you saw the F350 I am buying (well, hopefully, if it is still available next week) you would think they both were on their last legs. But under the hood will be a turbocharged, intercooled 6.9 when I am done with it.
Spend the money where it counts, and scrimp on it where it doesn't. I found a car trailer in Colorado (on Ebay) for $1,000 and it tilts so you can drive a vehicle onto it (no ramps to worry about). If this check gets here before that auction ends, I will do my best to buy it.Jim

Of course, it is way too big, and heavy for the Bronco, however, the Bronco would fit inside. And I could live in the front half. Tow it down to Pismo, park it, and bring out the Bronco for some fun in the sand. I seriously doubt the price will stay under 2k though, but I am watching it just to see what it does sell for.

Of course, I would only do that when going four wheeling. Any other time I use the trailer, I would leave the pony at home and just take the F350 and trailer. Jim
