Since you have a little time a welding shop can fix the aluminum case where the oilpump finger goes if it has almost cut through the "bumps" for.lack of a better word that hold it in place. Mine needed repaired but i used it any way.

The other fix for the pump spinning is to weld a piece onto the pump arm to spread out where it touches on the case. I found that fix online somewhere and welded a piece of rod onto the end of the arm. Thats cheaper and easier than welding the case.
