Son brought back wife's Grand Marq. So we finished the brake line on his 89 CV. Ran a new line from the Master cyl back to the rear junction block. Double flare at the rear "bubble" -metric at the master. Car is holding up well for a $300 vehicle 8 years ago.
Spent a little bit of time checking out TS problem on my 86. Current coming out of the switch and to a junction underneath the hood. So within 8' there is a break in the wire. The rotten cab mounts might have something to do with that. Have to find some 2x4's to prop the cab back up......

I did that with my 79 F150 SCab, Neil. Got so bad , when there were 3 in the front seat , if you hit a bump the cab would hit the drive shaft.
