Been up since 6:30 so that I could get the truck to the garage to have the gas tank straps replaced under the recall that Ford has out.
In hindsight...you probably should have had it done when you got the recall notice. Note...if the tank has rust holes due to the straps...Ford will pay for a new one.
Just got off the phone with the dealer and my luck would have it that they got the new tank straps in and the gas tank is leaking from where the old straps were. Looks like I will be having the tank replaced and keep on driving the truck for awhile longer.

My Taurus needs a new tank...my price for a Ford branded one...just a Blue Oval on the box...about $1100!! I bought one for $159...about a year and a half ago...still sitting in the box in the cellar.
