low power first start

I have a 2006 e350 with a 6.0 lt. diesel and an automatic trans. The problem is when i first start out there is no power ( 10 mph max ). When it warms up it does just fine. The other problem which might be connected is when it shifts I lose all power to my guages and radio for a split second. Im thinking transmission but not sure. Any ideas on this one...Thanks

Could be a lot of things.
Check the tech folder for the info on wire chaffing points. I would take a close look
at the harness for any signs of chaffing. My truck does not give a lot of power
when it cold and most diesels are this way. I keep a light foot till I reach 150F then
I don't really get on it till I see 180F +.

thanks for the answer. where would I find a tech folder on chafing points. I know you say most 6.0 liters are this way but this really only goes 8-10 mph pedal to the floor even with a 5- 10 minute warm up.
