It possibly did not come with back up lights. Make that, probably did not come with BU lights.

No. It is not. As I recall, the backup lamp switch was mounted on the tranny's top turrent. Close to where the shift lever comes out of the tranny. Unbolt the floor's plate right above the tranny. I believe you will see the swich there. IF THERE IS ONE.

Welcome to FTE

Backup Lamp Switch (15520) threads into shift tower. But it's not listed for F500/750 until 1969.

Only if it's a 1969 or newer, which it ain't!

Can you tell me what i have with VIN: F60BFA84916
It's exactly what you said it is, but you typed the wrong assembly plant code of F .. as there's no such code.

F60 = F600.

B = 300 1V I-6.

F =

A84916 = 1967, assembled February 1967.

Here are the codes that pertain to 1964/72:

Not sure if they all came with backup lights. The f600 guage cluster I put in my truck had a manual switch (red, illuminated, like the cargo light switches) that had a back up light bezel on it. So it had to be manually pulled rather than a switch in the trans operating it.

I have a 68 f600 and my backup lights are wired in on a switch on the dash and you manually click it out and then when your completed backing up you push it back in. My transmission doesnt have the switch and I have a new process 4 speed. It is a black wite with a red tracer that runs back to the combo brake/turn light.

'Back-Up Lights' bezel does not apply to 1967.

Model 81: Conventional Cab / Model 84: Open Drive-Away Chassis & Cowl.
