Whats your EOT under a load running?

While pulling my fifth wheel home this afternoon I noticed the EOT running 220-230 and at one time I run the truck pretty hard just to see how hot it would get. I got it up to 236 degrees before I got scared and backed off so what is to hot and what temps is every one else seeing under a hard load?

Pulling my boat on the hwy the other day, saw 220-225 cruising at 72 mph. Backed down to 65 mph and EOT dropped to 213-215. EOT is 205-210 under the same conditions running empty. I've got the 203 thermostat.

Ok good to know I bet every body on here is seeing the same thing I have been researching this and there is a lot of different opinions on the matter. But I have read enough to know now that 230 degree's is definitely not to hot and anything over 260 you need to start trying to cool it off. Just as long as the coolant temp isn't following. I to am running a 203 stat

I found this on a search, i too was curious. Monitoring my EOT with the edge evolution. Ive been towing a bout 20k to 22k " 11,000lb skid steer with a 2,500lb mulcher and grapple " roughly 14k just in equipment + 7k trailer. Been noticing bout 225 when running 65 in my DP 40tow or stk tune.
Didn't know what was normal or what i should be looking to see for EOT temps. Im feel in pretty good about that considering its 95* and 90 to 100 % humidity

Was searching for "normal" also, good seeing others peoples temps
Pulling my toy hauler hit a high of 226°, seemed to raise quickly with speeds over 65mph
Recall reading engine would defuel if temp got too high...
Anyone know what temp that is?

I know my neighbor has a 6.7L new and his EOT gets to 250 degree pulling his 37 foot 5th wheel. He said he was going to change the cooler. That's stock.
