Ive researched and maybe I just didn't use the right keywords, but when you put a leveling kit in can you or can you not run 35 inch tires? I'm OK with 33's but id really prefer to run 35's, But I've heard they rub. My truck is a 2000 Crew cab 7.3 diesel.
34.6x12.4x16 is what 315x75x16 converts to. There was still room left so true 35s will fit. But like I said on stock wheels with no spacers they rub the front leaf springs.
I just bought 305X70X16 (33X12.2X16) 2 weeks ago and LOVE them.
They don't rub on my leaf spring now! Yet still look pretty beefy.
315X75X16 will rub on your leaf springs in full lock, not too bad, but will rub.
My issue is these trucks are TERRIBLE at turning and rubbing in full lock sucks when trying to turn tight, IMO. Hope this helps.
Here's how they turned out. They don't have that monster bad *** 35" look, but love the trade off.

Thanks for the info i like the look of 35's but sounds 33's are the more Practicle choice.
285X75X16 is also 33" You lose almost an inch in width though over 305X70 I rolled the dice with 305 being just over 12" Wide and it worked out, was considering 285X75, glad I didn't since I want the biggest tire I can get away with without rubbing.
Also, I don't know if it makes a difference, but my wheels are not stock 16X7", they are 16X8.5. Tires BFG All terrain.
My 315's used to rub the leafs with the stock 7.5" wide wheel. With the 10" wide wheels they no longer rub because of the additional offset. The only time they rub anymore is full turn going into a dip where the suspension flex's.
