Leveling Kit

I have a 08' 6.4 F-250 xlt, 4x4, crw cab. I was wondering if the leveling kits for these trucks allow you to put 20" inch rims with 35x12.50 without rubbing or do i need to go with a three inch lift? Does anybody have a leveling kit on their new 08' yet? I'd like to know how they look any everything.

You dont NEED a leveling kit to fit the stock 20s and 35 MT. I know of at least 2 people on here that did it. Hopefully theyll chime in and give you some first hand experience. You can check the "lets see your 08s" thread Im sure they are both in there.
For some pics of a stock 08 with a leveling kit check trucktoyz website.

20's with a 35" Toyo MT fit no problem on a stock 08...we've installed that setup on a few customers trucks now.

A leveling kit for an F250 would require you to add blocks in the rear right? Correct me if I'm wrong...

That what I was thinking but Im not sure. I was told that the 250 have the 2" block in the back and the 350 have the 4". Im not really sure what to go with cause someone told me that the metal spacer that goes on the front coil spring doesnt look as good as if you were to change the coil cpring and put on new shocks and change the rear block to the 4"Which is gonna look better??

My 08 has a 2.5" level from Revtek. This is a cool kit because it has a block beneath the spring instead of the ugly spacer on top. Kit is about 220 from rocky mtn suspension. It comes with hydro shocks and blocks are optional. I've had this set up on my 05,06 and 08. I chucked the hydros and put on Bilstein shocks all around. It handles alot better especially towing at speed. I removed the factory 3" AND PUT ON 5" blocks. It's alittle high when empty, but its level with my trailer on.

Hey Ford,
I am running 20's x 12.5. Here my 2 cents, Unless your planning on driving around town with a rainbow on your rear window, do yourself a favor and at least put a leveling kit on your truck.
Skyjacker has a leveling kit which includes larger springs for the front and an extra leaf for the rear, looks sharp and done right. I think I paid around $500 installed. You will need to do some minor modifications 1st to the wheel wells, minor cutting and pulling back the wheel well for clearence and add some spacers to the front bumper to extend it forward .
Good luck, enjoy your new truck
