I have a 1996 ford bronco 5.0 4wd and cannot figure out what the heck is wrong with it. iver taken it to atleast 4 different michanics and no one can figure out the problem.
first let me tell you what ive done to it.
ive put new callipers/rotors and break pads on the breaks and bled them. ive also bled the abs system
Now when i drive the truck when im pushing on the breaks right before i come to almost a complete stop, the pedal feels like its releasing a little air then pulls to the left so bad that if i dont pull us back id be in the next lane.
After i had the driver side calliper put on the truck was still acting the same but a few times the abs light would turn on and the breaks worked perfect, then the abs light would come back on and then all the sudden the breaks were acting up again. I need help with this. i cant figure out what the problem is.
could be a number of issues taking place such as the ABS control module could be acting up, the ABS sensors on either front spindle are bad or damaged. the brake system wasnt bleed out properly etc...
