abs and brake light
1997 F-150, 4.6L Triton V-8, 4x4 w/ rear wheel ABS
My ABS and Brake light come on whenever they feel like it. sometimes when its cold and sometimes when they get wet. They all ways come on together. Sometimes they wont come on for a week or too and then sometimes they come on for 3 days straight. The rear sensor has been changed, I've also changed the master cylinder because the brakes were a little spungy.
I heard that maybe it might be because the wire plugs for the ABS are getting wet and I was also thinking about the RABS module that is right underneath the master cylinder.
Does anyone have any ideas please. Thanks alot!!

For the last 6-7 years or so I have had intermittent ABS lights come one usually when its dry but not always. Had several sensors replaced but after awhile gave up, but with the brake light coming on sounds more serious then just a ABS sensor going nuts so I would have to guess maybe the ABS master controller unit*.
