Ok I need a quick and easy way to replace my oil cooler o rings. When I say quick I mean in one weekend cause that's all the time I have then I have to leave home and god knows when I'll get back.
That is not a easy job any way you look at it. I pulled mine off just to replace the gaskets that go from it to the engine and that had to be the most messy job I have ever done, and I even drained the block. Oil and coolant dripping all over the place.
If you want to take it out completely, you have to take the engine loose and jack it up to get the whole thing out, which of course is what you have to do to replace the o-rings. There is a little procedure to replace the o-rings also, I don't know if you can find it on the net using google.
i saw a video on youtube where a guy did something with his steering and didnt have to jack up the engine. getting messy and dirty is defiantly not a worry of mine honestly i prefer it.
