High pressure on both high AND low side?

Both high and low side pressures are high on my 1995 F150 5.8...

The a/c on this truck is kind of cool...just enough to "feel" cool coming out of vents. Hooked up my guage set and I'm getting 70-80psi on the low side and 350-375 on the high side. It gets high enough to turn off the compressor while idling at a light in 110* weather.

I did an evac & recharge to proper capacity and it does the same thing. New orifice tube and new fan clutch & plenty of air moving across the condenser. It will cool a little better when on the freeway, but not much.

What's the deal? Any info would be appreciated!

How much R134 did you put in there?

Have you tried hitting the condenser with the spray from a garden hose while monitoring the pressures?

Waaaaayyyy over charged. The a/c machine I used wasn't calibrated right. Blowing cool air now!
