I'd like to disable the dimming feature when the Headlights are turned on.. has anyone done this, if so, which pin or wire is the sense lead? I cannot see the display during the day because I run daylights and it dims.. thanks.. 2002 F-250 SD
I believe it was light blue with red stripe. Open the passenger side kick panel and find the harness going up the pillar to the console. See if you can find that color.
Mine is an '06, so I'm not sure it is the same, but a good chance it is.
No problem. In case you aren't aware, all you need to do is snip off the sensor wire. The display defaults to high intensity when it isn't connected to the sensor lead.

I am fully aware that you "just snip" the sensor lead, I just wanted to know which was the sensor wire.. thank you..
