2002 overhead console wiring question
I'd like to disable the dimming feature when the Headlights are turned on.. has anyone done this, if so, which pin or wire is the sense lead? I cannot see the display during the day because I run daylights and it dims.. thanks.. 2002 F-250 SD

I believe it was light blue with red stripe. Open the passenger side kick panel and find the harness going up the pillar to the console. See if you can find that color.
Mine is an '06, so I'm not sure it is the same, but a good chance it is.

I am fully aware that you "just snip" the sensor lead, I just wanted to know which was the sensor wire.. thank you..

That is in my F350 PowerStroke Amarillo Edition.
You can almost read the Amarillo branding in
the lower right of the speedometer.

thanks Yahiko.. appreciate the tip.. I've got a 2002 F250SD Crew 4wd lariat short, loaded .. heavy suspension, trailer package, the works.. 7.2L Diesel.. great truck, but I really like that F350 Amarillo of yours.. so.. I'll call your friend.. wonder what my truck is worth in perfect condition these days?
