I was looking for chaffed wires for another issue and found a vacuum fitting with a hole at the bend. It is located just forward of the turbo, pretty much top, middle of the engine. It is one fitting with 2 vacuum lines on it going to it. There are also a couple of wires on the back side. I repaired the hole with some hot glue, but would like to replace. Can someone tell me what it is?
What color is the line? It sounds like the wastegate lines. Here is a pic. My lines have been replaced so they will look different. Is this the sensor you are talking about?
The green one had the hole. I have owned the truck since it was new. Looked like something chewed on it. The truck runs better without the leak. Do I need to worry about any problems after running it with this thing not working?
