Head light question.
Just got back into a ford . I picked a 2001 F-150.with 142,000 on it.
before that I had a 05 Jeep, before that a 02 F250 C/C PS
1) what is every one doing about the dengy headlights??? they are not real bad but I want to get a jump on it. is that restore stuff any good?
2) as well is some kind of under coating like the Por 15 I have read about.
or what ever is good that most people are having luck with.
a billet grill and some stainless nurf bars.
3) and a tune up. most of the locals tell me to take it to the dealer. do to the plugs busting off. is this a commen practice?????
they say it is Expensive.

The spark plug breaking off started in 2004 models.
Earlier models are prone to coming loose or blowing out as a result
of only 4 or 5 threads in the cylinder head

other than the plugs and filters .
what eles do I need to do? its been a looong time since I tuned up anything my self. I think I have fell behind the times. back in the 80's I could only afford stuff from the 60's . I am glad I found yall.
AND I could most likely use a good a good manual. any recommendations?
