Im just wondering if theres old ford records in information pamphlets booklets and whatnot that would include availible paint schemes, engines, trans, diffs, rims etc. just anything that would help when figuring out what type of truck needs what (plain jane vs. ranger/lariat etc.) if theres no place to find these pamphlets could we possibly start sharing them on here by pictures??

More commonly called Sales Brochures, these were available in the dealer showroom. I suspect ebay will have them.

I have a price and spec book for 82, pretty cool to flip through and check out all the options, also has all the option codes and prices, special offers.







One of these days I will get around to scanning more info out of it. Got it mainly for the thunderbird info.

 

You could have it "your way". My 83 Supercab and long bed started at about $9000 and ended at $12,300.
