A happy post!

Had some good help on here when I first bought my truck and read through here every now and again... I thought I would mix up the posts about all the problems with a fun post about painting in the driveway! I could not handle the soccer mom 2-tone paint and peeling paint on the rims so I had to give it the John Deere Blitz Black treatment. Be kind, we painted on a windy day in November in Maine at about 55 degrees tops, I have never painted a car before, and we used a crappy Husky Siphon gun. Enjoy!

No, it is not primer, that is durable tractor paint! It is used on the bottom of JD tractors and is supposed to be tough as nails. It has acquired a cult following for its satin finish and cheap price!

I'm usually not a fan of the flat/satin black paint jobs, but that actually looks pretty good.

I gotta say, I'm actually pretty impressed! It took a lot of guts to spray an Expy in the driveway, in Maine on a 55 degree day.

That looks mean! I think turned out really well. If I saw that I would have never thought it was sprayed in a driveway. Great job.
