bricknose headlights :(

Its probably out of my budget atm (like just about everything) but has anyone done any good headlight upgrades for the bricks? Ideally Im thinking either legitimate HIDs with proper housings or back dating to sealed beam buckets and doing an LED conversion. And I know Im the odd ball out but I kinda want to keep similar appearances (don't know why but the styles grown on me).

Long shot I know but I know full well if your after info on performance upgrades for these trucks this is the place to get it

You can buy a kit from LMC truck pretty cheap. I made my own with 2 additional relays for the plow lights.

so far i have bought two sets of morimoto fx-r projectors and 150 yellow high flux leds.

superbrightleds.com (for leds)

i haven't quite figured out how i am going to make the housings yet though.

i have a friend with a plastic printer, so i might have him make up some models.

once i get everything worked out good, i may cast the housings out of aluminum.

as for the front lenses i think i am going to make up a vacuum forming machine and cover the lenses with XPEL protective film (you should check that stuff out for any vehicle)

Trucklight is making LED's in the square sealed-beam housings now. They are spendy though... like $350+/ea I think.

JW Speaker makes probably the best sealed beam to led conversion/lights on the market but bricks don't take sealed beams unfortunately

Link for info here:
