Headlights on my truck just plain sucks

My 2006 headlights are the ssme; not very good. I use it mainly as a plow truck though, and my plow lights are much better than the truck lights (Western MVP).
I did try the Silver Star bulbs (or something like that) in my truck headlights. They were a little better, but blew out after about a year. I just stuck the oem bulbs back in.

Use Sylvania SilverStar bulbs.... Regular ones. The "Ultra" SilverStars are brighter but I've heard this means shorter life span.
If you dont want to do the 2005-07 headlight conversion.... get a set of OEM 2003-2004 headlights.
Regardless of which year headlights you decide to go with do this - RE-WIRE your headlights like this article says - Brighter Headlights.
This will get maximum voltage to the headlights. Did it on my 2004 and it made a decent difference.
Your other option is to get some REAL projector conversion headlights. Not cheap eBay stuff. Real ones are good, but expensive.

I went with these 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty Truck Clear Lens Composite Headlight Pair at 1A Auto.com and Silverstar Ultra. Oem quality and bright. I get more than 2 years out of the bulbs.
