Cleaning ok?

Doing the Bulletproof upgrade to the truck. Pulled the EGR valve and AIT2 sensor an they are both covered in old oil. Can I clean them and if so with what? Thanks---Stan

I used Carb cleaner and a small flux brush , don't get the cleaner into the electrical side, and ware you safety

glasses that stuff burns like
