I Bought a 1977 F350 Ranger XLT Camper Special, with the camper still on it. The original owner had passed away and his grandson sold the truck and slide-in camper complete but no tailgate. Last known whereabouts was a warehouse in Albuquerque. I thought a replacement tailgate would be easy enough to find, but I have scoured the junkyards and can find no suitable replacement. It was white with a copper brown inset and the delux trim. If anyone has a correct spare in good condition (of any color) I would pay a fair price and shipping. To buy all the correct parts new from the vendors I've checked is just too expensive. I would have put an ad in the things wanted classified section, but I dont have enough posts yet.
Also is a 68-73 tailgate interchangable with a '77? I found a '69 tailgate for cheap that would do until I find the right thing if it will fit.
Thank you for your assistance, any leads would be appreciated.

1973/79 F100/350 Stylesides use the same tailgate (D9TZ-9940700-A replaced D3TZ-9940700-A). 1973/79 use different hinges than 1967/72, which are the same as 1964/66 F100/250 2WD, 1966 F100 4WD.
The 1967/72 tailgate (C7TZ-9940700-A) looks slightly different than 1964/66 (C4TZ-9940700-A), but will interchange as all the mounting hardware is the same.
