Let me try again.. Yes that's the type you want. EC-1 rated, silicate fee, concentrated coolant. Again sorry for the mix up earlier. Good luck with the flush, it can be time consuming.
All of us have brain fade now and then. I blame mine on age which comes in convenient. Your still aces Rusty.
Thanks CJ, (I have a grandson named CJ btw) I'm a 1961 model so the brain fade is starting to get more frequent now. Even when I was a kid I liked hanging out with the old guys, now I are one.
Right behind u rusty I too have a intermittent case of crs you know can't remember s&?! But I'll back u up on o ring on that fumoto I did the same and have absolutely no leaks.we're lucky to have folks like u on here.
The hole in the block is 1/2 chamfered for the o-ring and the factory plug is clearanced for the other half of the needed space. The area around the hole in the block is machined also so I think the o-ring from the removed plug or the gasket that comes with the valve. Either should work just fine. I wouldn't worry about chasing down anything special.
I opted for the o-rings and have no leaks.

I've got about 15 years on you. Wait till you get there. LOL.
The total capacity of the cooling system is 27.5 quarts. If you drain the radiator and and pull the lower hose, you'll only get about 14quarts out. If you flush it's going to end up with about 14quarts of water in it, no way to get back to the proper 50/50 mix in the truck if it's already 50/50 in the bottle.
I can't find the right coolant anywhere in concentrate only 50/50 can I use 50/50
What kind of parts stores are near you? You should be able to special order one of the concentrated ones from a Napa, O'reilys, Autozone, etc. I've seen all three show them on their websites for a ship to store. If you can get the Zerex ELC (that is EC-1 rated) it seems to be the cheapest one.
