This coolant ok?
It's the only thing i've been able to find on amazon that is CAT EC-1.
Edit, apparently not since it still has silicates or whatever it is. But what about this one:

I'm beyond frustrated with my search for coolant. Zero local box stores carry the EC-1 rated stuff. And it's not available on amazon. I'd like to be able to do it this weekend. I have read about 50 pages on 6.0 coolant so far. Here's what I believe I'm after.
CAT ELC
ChevronTexaco Delo Extended Life Coolant
GM DEX-COOL
Prestone Extended Life 5/150
Shell Rotella Extended Life Coolant
Texaco Havoline DEX-COOL
I don'tknow where to find hte damned stuff locally though!

Do not use any Dex-cool product.
Mobil Delvac Extended Life Coolant will work also:

Unfortunately not avialable at my TSC, but it is available from a TSC 15 miles away, but only limited availability, so i should probably call first.
It's fine to run on distilled water while i'm still getting everything ready right? not daily driving it, but still driving it a bit.

Do you have an International Harvester dealer near you?
They will have the correct. The Rotela comes in two forms that are safe and I have to go look at the
bottles to tell you the numbers to get. One is red and the other beer yellow. I freaked when I first started
to add it to the truck after the flush I had finished and went and searched FTE and found a post that gave
more info about it.

No IH dealer. Been to 2 Walmart’s, 2 tractor supply, autozone, advance auto parts, pep boys. Nothing. This is completely rediculious. Closest I found was peak final charge but it’s pre diluted. Driving around all damned day. I’m really irritated.
